Hi, I have just recently started preparing for the 70-680 Configuring Windows 7 exam, and I have some questions regarding the USMT.
Firstly, if I try to migrate user state data with a hardlink / wipe-and-load migration method do I have to create a seperate partition for storeing the user state data since I will be wiping the OS partition? Or is it stored in a special place on the drive?
Second question is, if I have multiple partitions on my old system with my user data spread across them and I want to migrate to a single partition system of Windows 7 will I have any issues? Would I still be able to create hard links in this scenario?
Thanks
