Darkmori Registered Users Posts: 3 ■□□□□□□□□□The Security+ test is very hard. I suggest you pass the Network+ test first ( should be easy with your CCNA ) The questions are tricky, and confusing.
To be helpful, I would say know your ports, know your acronyms, look up sec+ simulations on google, and read the questions carefully.
If you want to save some cash...buy the Deluxe Bundle for Cert Master from comptia ...you get Cert Master, an exam voucher and a free re-take.
Cert Master will help with about 60% of the questions.
The Network+ Cert Master has a lot more information than the Security+.
Hope this helps. -

I would say Security+ contains a far more broad spectrum of knowledge in various areas but the difficulty level of the CCNA would be far greater - if that makes sense. You need to know how to make everything work together for business continuity in Sec+ - instead of just routing/switching for CCNA - which can be easier or harder depending on your real-life experience.timku.com(puter) | ProHacker.Co(nsultant) | ITaaS.Co(nstultant) | ThePenTester.net | @fuz1on

Those videos explain basic principles but it's up to you to put it all together for best practices in specific business environments. Btw, I used CBT Nuggets for Mobility+ and I would have failed if I used the videos alone - many, many topics were missing. YMMV...
It pretty must boils down to experience with a large enterprise (5-10k) - if you do, it will be pretty intuitive.timku.com(puter) | ProHacker.Co(nsultant) | ITaaS.Co(nstultant) | ThePenTester.net | @fuz1on
