KVM broke...now what?

I ran into an issue using a Avocent (Emerson) MPU 2032. It'll display the server. In this case 12 Apple's with Yosemite running VM. I can toggle any "server", but the cursor will not "click" anything except one. There's one Apple it works fine with, but the others it does not.
Avocent interface functions fine and has latest updates. I'm also using the newest doggles. The KVM works on anything else I plug in. At this point I'm thinking maybe a chip issue/conflict or Yosemite doesn't like Avocent...not really sure, but I'm out of options and don't really want to start the corporate finger pointing via either makers customer services - I'm sure you know what I mean.
Q: Anybody used an Avocent KVM and had the same mouse problems? If so, whats the workaround?
Q: I'm staring at my Macbook Pro and a Cisco switch. Is there a way to mount these "servers" though a switch and my Mac Pro?

There are remote desktop type solutions for OSX, but I'm certainly no expert on the platform, so I'll leave recomendations on that respect to someone else. -
