HI Guys i'm 20 years old and from the Uk
I have now aqquired 2 years help desk support supporting over 200 users
I have knowledge in the following areas
Hardware - Building computers installing devices Upgrading and error fixing
Software - Supporting users resolving problems performing upgrades
Programming - HTMl knowledge , VB Knowledge, and some Javascript
Basic Networking Knowledge
Installing Network cards assigning a computer to a domain sharing devices configuring protocols etc
I want to progress further in my career
I have recently completed a 2 year helpdesk apprentiship in supporting users
Have started ready up on the MCDST and N+ seems pretty straightforward altho the OSI seven layer model is a mind bender lol
Is this the right path to take a freind said to me to eventually get a CCNA or MCSE
advice is welcome

I'm thinking of taking the MCDST exam soon i have already done a few practice exams and have killed them lol
Then N+ will follow

Opi Member Posts: 127because you did a lot of helpdesk support MCDST , will not be such a big deal for you, but its good to have on your resume i think.
N+ is a good entry level networking cert, start with that followed up by CCNA.
