can sscp cert open doors just like cissp?

Just curious on this one, also if anyone has any past exp with getting foot in door with sscp?

Hi eddo1,
It is the work experience that is required for the CISSP exam and the educational requirements that open doors. The certification is a great way package everything.
I do not have the SSCP but assume it will surely give you an edge.
