Virtual Teams

So I'm heading to another office to train some new hires and since there is a team here and a team there that may never meet each other in person, I was thinking of some kind of team-building activities to make them feel like part of the team. Maybe something even that continues beyond the week of training that I'm there.

I did my typical Googling of course and the two that stuck out to me were:

- Virtual Office Tour: Maybe do one here for them and visa versa when I get there? I can use my phone and maybe interact with a couple people here and have them say hi. Or too cheesy?

- Team Profiles: Maybe we can design a quick email each stating our interests, career history, goals, etc.

Anyone else encounter anything that works well?
