Most of my VMs are connected to the internal switch only. I also got a virtual router (ClearOS). This has an interface in both, internal and external so if a VM on the internal network does require an internet connection, I just have to allow it on the firewall or simply create NAT rules.
In fact, my virtual router's external interface is on DHCP and all internal IPs are fixed. I moved my lab to the office once and didn't have to change a thing. Not on the internal LAN / DHCP / AD etc.

In my previous message, I have a screen shot. Can I just setup my Data Center and VCP Data Center with no adapters?
I am just trying to get DHCP/DNS to work and I don't think I need internet for now.
