How to auto obtain DNS IP Address?

I have the Active Directory, DNS and DHCP activated on my Windows 2003 test computer.
My client computer (XP) can pick up the DHCP IP address with no issues but for some reason it's not picking up the DNS server address correctly. (192.168.1.14)
This is leading to issues where I can't connect to the Active Directory Users and Computers console correctly from the client computer.
It is only when I manually input the DNS server IP address in the client computer the problem goes away.
How do I get the server to automatically give out the DNS IP address to the client computers?
