The Lure of Learning New Technologies
Hi Everybody,
So I am on the Cisco path, and I am very happy with that. I also started keeping a CentOS server in my lab for all the normal reasons (NTP, TFTP, DNS, etc), but now I am getting very distracted by that server. Its supposed to help my Cisco training, instead i just spent the last 3 days figuring out how to make a script to remote back up all of my Cisco run configs.
I'm totally happy with it, but I need to focus on CCNP! But i think I like bash scripting!
I think my immediate career path will benefit from CCNP more, and long term Linux will help.
Time management advise?

NetworkNewb Member Posts: 3,298 ■■■■■■■■■□I'm guilty of looking into other things as well... I usually end up buying a bunch of books off Amazon in random subject and it gets added to my library as "one of things I'm going to get to after I get done learning the current thing". Needless to say I have a bunch of books I haven't got to yet
