MCSA / MCSE on Windows 2012 General
Which test to Start with for MCSA?
dannieboiz
My company has been pushing me to update my certs. I need to take the easiest test to show that I'm making progress... Was wondering which one is the easiest to take first?
A little background...
I'm an MCSA 2000 (yes very dated)
been in the industry for 10 years working title is Network Engineer but doing a lot more administrator tasks
Have experience with 2000 (obvious) supported 2008 for 6 years and recently started to rollout 2012 on a few sites.
My goal is to be certified with at least one test in under 2 months, is it now back to MCP? I remember it changed a couple years ago when I look.
Hope to get MCSA by the end of the year before my new review.

Any of them is achievable in 2 months, most people seem to start with the 70-410

I question the need to go for the easiest with your experience.
I think you should go for the one that interests you the most as it will help your motivation and speed the process up.
Good Luck!

I agree with Nster the 70-410 is where you should start, however if you had experience with 2008 and understand the capabilities... You may want to start with looking at what has changed in 2012 R2 and focus on those areas or objectives. See
