Herren Associates?

Has anyone ever heard of them? It would seem legit but it feels weird. I was contacted by HR on LinkedIn in regards to a future position in the Philadelphia area. So I entertained the idea and the CTO called me. We talked for an hour and from my understanding they bid on government projects and right now have offered me a contingent position at a good rate ($10k more than I'm about to make at my current job once I get my raise). So if they win the project, I have a position. If not, then oh well.

Someone please tell me you have experience with this. It's the most bizarre thing I've ever encountered. Good pay (salary too), benefits, in the same complex I work at now magically, you get a secret clearance. Too good to be true?
