how to remove IP

Fellas,

Which command do we use for re-assign the IP Address ?

what is it ? clear ip address or no ip address?

please let me know..

    To remove the ip from an interface you type

    "no ip address"

    from the interface config prompt.

    To change the ip address you can just type "ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x". It is not necessary to remove the old one first.
