I mean yes, you can put vCenter and VUM on the same sever and you may not need a virtual router or SQL box, but still.

tomtom1 Member Posts: 375Did you remember TPS is being salted since 5.5? That means intra-VM TPS is still enabled, but inter-VM TPS is disabled, and can only be done if both VM's have the same salt. If no salt is specified, every VM uses a random salt, meaning inter-VM TPS is disabled. Setting the advanced setting Mem.ShareForceSalting to 0 reenables inter-VM TPS, but leaves you at risk for that medium level security issue (VMware KB: Security considerations and disallowing inter-Virtual Machine Transparent Page Sharing).
