So we know that hot certs change all the time. I was curious what people see as generally good progressions from novice to advanced and what should be hot this year.
Personally I have Security+ and a CCNA. I am also about to do my CCNA:Security and then possible MCSA 2012 R2.

With this being said, here is a website link with a generalized focused on the hot certifications of 2015, I don't say best since the selections can be left to ones own interpretations: clicky -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,092 AdminCloud certs are hot and appear to be staying hot. I think the next cert trend heating up are the Big Data certs, but those are all vendor-solution-specific and difficult to get if you don't attend the vendor training and work on the vendor's solutions.

nster Member Posts: 231depends what you want to do, how fast you learn, what experience you can get etc. An MCSA has value if you will be administering Windows Servers, but otherwise your ROI will be low to non-existant
What certs will be hot this year? I think VCPs will continue being popular. I agree that Cloud will probably see a jump, though idk which ones. Getting a CCNA followed by the VCP followed by VCP-DCV would be a great way to get it this year -
