Hey guys just discovered this amazing forum, a lot of good information on here!

I was curious if anyone here used EDULearn.com to pass their Security + test?? I know a lot of people are mentioning using Darril Gibson's text book and Professor Messer YouTube videos, but I haven't seen anyone mention edulearn.com

I was just curious if anyone had an opinion on this learning method... As I don't want to learn material that's not up to date or as efficient as some of the other material out there. (FYI I did already purchase the program for a pretty hefty price)

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If you already purchased the material, might as well try it out for yourself. If it's good, use it.

Personally, all I used was Gibson's book and Messer's videos. I tried to use the Exam Cram book afterwards, but within the 1st chapter I realized I didn't like it and dropped it.

Very expensive, $495.00. Gibson's book is $35.00 on Amazon, $10.00 for Kindle version, and Professor Messer's videos are free. If you want to add on the Exam Cram book, $30.00. I passed the exam using only Messer's videos, but I think I would have got a better score if I had also used a book.

Hey guys, thank you for the responses.

Yes Ssnyderu2, it was very expensive. I ended up paying $500+ for program off edulearn.com, although it did include A+, Network + and a few other certs. That being said.. I compared the contents from Darril Gibson's textbook to edulearn and they're completely different in terms of wording, etc.. As DoubleNNs mentioned he used Darril Gibson's text book and Prof. Messers videos to pass the test.. As many others have mentioned on this forum.

So I think I will take my chances using that as my study route instead of edulearn

Btw ssnyderu2.. That's amazing you were able to pass the exam only using Messer's videos!

Always best to use multiple sources. Maybe use Gibson/Messer as your primary sources, and go thru the edulearn material afterwards.
    Good luck!
