Stanly Vsphere class expiration?

Hello everyone.

I originally took the Vsphere class last spring. It was the 5.0 version. Life ended up getting in the way and I never sat for the exam. Am I pretty much out of luck and would need to retake the class in order to take the updated exam?

You may still be able to take the exam if I what I gather from here is correct. See the second bullet point where it talks about which courses are appropriate for general candidates.
