Anyone familiar with Oracle certifications?

Most of the discussion I hear about certifications these days pertains mainly to Cisco, Microsoft, ISC, and CompTIA. I know as far as DBA is concerned Oracle is a huge player, so I was wondering if anyone here could share some info/advice about their certification programs.

I'm also wondering about the validity of oracle certification versus micrsoft certifications such as mcdba
