Passed SSCP - 4.15.2013
Passed the SSCP earlier today. For the first 3 minutes, I thought I might have the wrong exam After about the 5th question, it seemed to get better [maybe the panic wore off?]. Anyway, the test was not what I expected - can't really elaborate because of the NDA. Let's just say I didn't see some things I really expected to see.
My main source the final few days was the TestOut application. I know everyone here pretty much used the ISC2 official guide and Darril's book [I used Darril's book as well].
My sources:
Darril's All-in-One [recommend]
TestOut/LabSim [definitely recommend]
uCertify [ok, but not great]
PluralSight [recommend after reading Darril's book]
SkillSoft [sucked - too much extra info]
I'd say that someone should be able to pass with just Darril's book and the Pluralsight videos.
Going to take a few days to kick back and then start on the CISSP. These "last minute" CISSP test-takers have really gotten me fired up to try and do this thing.
Thanks to all the posters who shared their experiences about the SSCP exam. Definitely a great help!
