Need help from Excel Foo's

I am currently dealing with this user, her laptop has been infected with a virus and this virus changed the excel document's extension from from .xls to .xls.fcalsqi this extension opens excel documents using Xlicons.exe and this application is the default application that runs all excel files. when I change the extension to it's original .xls extension it opens up the document but it comes with a bunch of codes written on it.

I have tried to Google this but it looks like few people encountered this problem and I am not seeing any resolutions on this.

Does anyone here know a solution to this. I Appreciate any advice.
