Passed the CISSP, which cert should I study for now?

Hey guys!

I passed the CISSP on 4/14 (forgot to post, oops!) icon_cheers.gif now I'm trying to figure out which cert to study for next. I want an IT security certification that will also be beneficial to me if I decide to move away from gov't work (currently a DoD contractor).

Eventually I'd like to take the pen-testing route and move away from Information Assurance, but I'm unsure about the quality of the CEH these days. Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks!

I heard OSCP is better for pen testing than CEH.

    Congrats on the pass!

Thanks for the response! The OSCP looks great but you have to pass the PWK (Penetration Testing With Kali Linux) before you can take to OCSP. The PWK alone is 800 bucks (incl. 30 days of labs, class, and test voucher).... after that I'm not even sure how much the OSCP is haha.

Should I go for an OS cert first? Maybe Linux?

Haven't taken the OSCP yet but I've heard you need to be familiar with Linux.
Not a master. Just know how to navigate the OS and use vi.
There are a few OSCP threads in the Security forum.
