CPE Credit (Any Free online ways to get CPEs)

Wondering are there any free online training that we can get CPEs. Switched companies which at my past employer we were sent off to conference and got them all at once for a years coverage.

Trying to see if there are anything other than the listening to Podcasts and reading White Papers

Webinars and podcasts are still the easiest, least expensive method of getting your 40 in for the year but still require the investment of time to listen and to take enough notation for potential audit purposes.

Free online training from Cybrary would be an option. If you were writing a book, that counts. Writing exam questions is good for a few hours. Subscribing to security magazines, etc.

Really getting 40 CPEs in a year just by listening to Webinars has been more than easy for me to accomplish and many I don't bother reporting as there is always something I am interested in attending. Outside of that there are shows and get togethers in major markets if your able to attend will give you similar results.

None of it is hard to accomplish save the time investment.
