Hi guys,
I know that many of us here received degrees from WGU and really like the competency-based model. Many have expressed interest in attending a brick and mortar institution for a masters, but are hesitant because not many b&m institutions have masters programs that use the same model. I thought you might like a few articles I found about the University of Texas system getting involved with competency-based education. It seems that more and more schools are creating competency-based programs. Northern Arizona, Bellevue, Southern New Hampshire, University of Michigan, Purdue, and the University of Wisconsin system are just a few that schools that have added competency-based programs. I was wondering when the UT system would get on-board and I'm glad they have.
