These are no more difficult than 270 I would think. I haven't taken 270, but I'm familiar with what's required to pass it. I also use XP daily, and it does help. Did you use any books to study, or are you just going to try them?

Honestly, I really didn't find one to really be easier than the other. Just slightly different.

I'm going to sit the test on friday morning too. Anything I should watch out for? I've never taken an MS test before.

It wasn't too bad. There were a few ambiguous questions, but most of it was relatively straight-forward. I actually found myself getting very bored mid-way through the test. Make sure you have your security policies down, and you know what tool does what. Also, I remembered seeing several DNS-specific questions.

I'm going to start dualing my preparation for 70-272 and 70-316. Should be a lot of fun.

Congrats. I still have to take 272. How was it? I don't think I could have taken both tests back-to-back. I was getting bored when I took 271. Not bored in the "this is too easy" sense, but bored in the "this is a boring test, why won't it end" sense.

I thought 272 was a bit boring, and that I had to study more for 271. Not "easy", but some of it was. It can be failed though, I know some who have, so don't underestimate; it is a M$ exam, so you never know what they will throw at you.

I got bored in the 271 test. I might have to put 272 on hold indefinately. I've had several programming-related job prospects come up recently, so I'm looking into MCAD again. That takes precidence with me.
