Is there a website out there that lists which files are needed to startup for each operating system as well as the optional files?

If I had them handy I'd post them, but I do not. icon_sad.gif

    Have you tried www.microsoft.com ?
Search each OS and you should find them listed.

    'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird?

hey man! yeah.. I didn't get any questions like that on what files needed for Windows9x --> XP for startup. But if you need it download the technotes here it was clearly discussed inlcuding the min./max. requirements for Windows installtion.
