We had a discussion a while back when this cert came out. I don't see how these peeps are getting away with charging $3,000 for the mandatory training plus whatever the cost of the test is. Doesn't make any sense to me. There are basically zero hits on Indeed for VMCE so the only way this adds is for specific shops that revolve around Veeam for their backup and replication needs. My question to the OP is, why would you take it? Are you expecting to make you a better Veeam admin or do you have any other reason?

This guy describes the course a bit, but no detail on the cert.

Well, I did not know there is mandatory $3000 training... I thought, if exam is easy I might just do it, but with these prices i think I'll be alright without it..
