Creating VLan

Create a VLan with a switch. Configure Telnet into the switch and enter your VLan parameters.

Anyone have a tutorial on this subject from the TechExams notes?

I don't think this kind of thing will be on the network+ exam.

Running Ciscos IOS

go into global config mode

Interface Vlan<vlan number>

set an IP address

I think from there you should be able to use the line vty command to create the connection you need.

Not 100%, its been a couple years since I've played with switches ect...
