For those studying the w2k3 server exam or just with interest...
I came across an interesting option while working on a w2k3 server. I haven't researched the details yet but check it out if you're not aware of it.
If you login to a W2k3 server using the local admin account, send a ctrl-alt-del, select change password - you'll see a 'Backup' button.
This backup button launches a wizard to create an emergency 'reset disk' to recovery a forgotten local administrator password. There are other 3rd party tools to do this, but it's the first I've seen that Microsoft had it built-in.
Is this covered in the exam?
