Different than Net+
Hello everyong, I am just kinda scratching my head on this one. What is the big difference between the Net+ and the i-net+? And if I have the Net+ why would I really need the I-Net+? Is it just a cert that Comptia can make more money and serve no real purpose?? Thanks for your feedback.

Inet+ is aimed at learning the basics of "internet" technology.
There is some overlap between the materials but the inet also goes into topics of servers, html coding and so on. -

Actually, there is a lot of overlap. I took the Network+ and the i-Net+ exams on the same day. I took the i-Net+, just for some extra college credit.
I think CompTIA's eBiz+ is what offers something a bit different. I think they should combine i-Net+ and eBiz+ into one serious Internet Webmaster type cert.
