ccnp home lab, number of serial wics needed
I'm looking at building a ccna lab out for doing ccnp labing. And, I'm looking to find out how many serial connection will be necessary. I'm using 2800 routers, but it might be necessary to get a 3640,etc for a frame relay switch/router if more than 4 serial wic are necessary.
Now, for the ccna, just having 2 serial wics in a router is good enough. So, will more serial wics per router be necessary? And, can I use 4 serial wics in a 2811 for a frame relay switch, or is another method preferred?
When I take a look at the kit builder's labs, they have 4 routers with 10 serial connections. I suppose that is two per router and one router with 4 for frame relay. I'm thinking that is probably a minimum amount to have.

To answer your question, you will need approximately 0 (zero) serial WICs. -

Yeah, it's gone. Having just taken this exam... here's my notes on the entire subject of Frame Relay.

Don't need a serial WIC to figure out that. -
