2960 stack query

Have added 3750's to running stacks in the past, mostly successfully, with only a very few undergoing a stack reload when connecting the stacking cables. IOS versions match so its not that. Suspect physical/electrical issue at the connector.

We are now purchasing 2960s/2960x, are these also susceptible to a reload when connecting the stacking cable? Our available window is 01:00 - 04:00 if a reload is a possibility, at which time I'd rather be in bed.
