ASIS security certifications?

Anyone familiar with this certification?
Some sounds similar to CISSP.

ASIS has 3 certs all security related, the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) which is a general Security Management cert, the Physical Security Professional (PSP) cert and the Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) cert.

I went to their conference (exhibits only) a few years ago. They were pitching the certs in the opening remarks. The certs are obviously targeted for corporate/public security professionals such as security department heads, LEO, PIs, private security firms, etc. Although the domains may seem similar, definitely nothing like the CISSP.

Nothing like the CISSP at all.

hit the nail on the head. ASIS is all about securing the base, not the network. I've never worked closely with anyone in particular that has a cert from ASIS, but I have contracted a PSP for camera implementation and identity access management / access control (card + biometric readers). That is more within the scope of their certs.
