I got the CCNP 2.5 years ago. It wasn't really a big factor on landing the job, but it was a big factor on the pay.

Like most NOCs: green dots become red dots, let somebody know. To get any decent networking experience while in the NOC, I reached out to engineers to see if I can help them with anything. They trained me to do some of their work, and I did those during my downtime. -

thanks for sharing this, I was thinking this might be the key for me.. I thought my Masters would be the bump I needed, but I think I need that CCNP to get these companies to justify that six figure salary I needCurrently Working On
