I was in my first interview for a Network Engineer role I really wanted, and i was internal, so I had high hopes. Manager sat in on my interview too. I wouldn't have placed anything that I wasn't comfortable with on my resume. If its on your resume expect to be questioned on it and if you can't back it up then just take it off to prevent any other awkward situations. -
N2IT Inactive Imported Users Posts: 7,483 ■■■■■■■■■■I remember that well Mike. What a cluster that was. Having a programming certification without real skills is such a BAD IDEA. At the time it made sense, because it was "foundational", good luck with that though.
I've removed all but 4 certifications from my resume, I'm about to lose another so it will be 3. -

Good point but I don't think that it's appropriate for this context, completely.
It's a cert he has. I think that maybe the person who interviewed him should have approached it in a different way, such as asking what the test really entailed, or do his research and see what the test is about.
Like Mike said, he can't help what a cert is called. He took the exam and passed it.
