WGU projects in a portfolio

While most projects at WGU are relatively new, Java and SQL specifically, has anyone used them in their portfolio? I think it would show the interviewer(s) that you had a fairly challenging education and also shine a good light on a relatively unknown university.

Eh...it's not that it's a bad idea, it's just I don't think a typical job would care, unless I was trying to apply to an entry-level SQL or Java job. Most interviews I've been a part of it's just "Oh I see you got your degree from xxxxx? Ok good. Moving on...".

I was just thinking about doing it for the sql project and as it's relevant to many positions I've applied for lately. It's a way to show experience of creating a real life type database that can be verified. I don't know still thinking about it, I haven't even finished the project, I've only done the first normal form.
