Bandwidth is showing 128kbit Instead of 1544kbps
bmnaught
I have made a network using EIGRP and then i run command show interface serial1/0
instead of showing default value i.e 1544kbps it is showing 128kbit. Have I done anything wrong?

It's probably a default.
The bandwidth command doesn't actually "set" the bandwidth at all. The bandwidth command is set by the administrator so that any dynamic routing protocols know what the bandwidth of a given link is. If the link is actually physically working at 1544kbps for example, and the bandwidth states it is 128kbps, then EIGRP will use 128kbps in it's calculations. Not very clever if they do not match, of course!

In real equipment, some of the older routers do this. Can't speak for PT, though
