Boss is sitting down with me and the director of the company I work for to see what we can do to get some security related work delegated to me.
We currently only have 1 guy in charge of security for the entire organization, 9000+ employees. I made the argument that I need the experience and that they need another person, because what if the sole guy leaves, takes a vacation or can't work for some other reason.

Even if it's something small, it's a start and a leg up for me. I really want to get back into the ISC2 domains for my experience required to take the CISSP exam.
Right after school I plan on taking the SSCP. I already have a year and a half under my belt from my previous job, but I needed to get out.
