Interested in Linux+, need some advice

Hello all,

Glad to find this resource to discuss certifications with fellow techies! Looking forward to some great threads.

I am currently studying for the Linux+ exam, after becoming fed up and bored with Microsoft (I've taken WAY too many MS exams). Have done a little Linux/Unix work in college, and installed and played with Linux quite a few times, so I was anxious to expand my knowledge base. I've been reading Linux+ 2005 in depth, and going through and working every example it provides on my own system. I feel like I'm getting a pretty good handle on the OS and can hold my own in it, but is just reading this book and maybe working a practice test enough for someone with limited real world experience? Can anyone reccomend some more good resources to check out? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Russell
