Some questions on job searching

I'm on the hunt for a new job utilizing my CCNA skills, however finding one is a little daunting. Does anyone have any advice for this? Here are my main questions.
1. What are some of the better IT job sites?
2. Should I make an account and put my info in the sites? I know on Monster.com and Dice.com you can fill it in with your skills, experience, ext. Is this smart?
3. How would I go about finding recruiters to connect with on LinkedIn? I was told to connect with them but have no idea how to go about with this.
I'm a complete newb when it comes to job hunting. Pretty much fell into the one I have now.
Thanks!
P.S. if anyone knows of an entry level networking job in Florida, let me know!

I am in Northwest Florida and 95% of the jobs where I live are government contracting. In regards to your LinkedIn question, search for "recruiters" or "IT recruiters" and try to connect with as many as you can in your area. I have gotten a few calls from the ones I connected with.
How is your resume? Are you purely entry level? No experience? Search for "Junior Network Administrator" or "Junior Network Engineer." Most jobs up here are coded that way. You have luck with Network Administrator 1 as well."If your dreams dont scare you - they ain't big enough" - Life of Dillon -

From what I've been told, my resume is good. Worked on it a lot and got a lot of help with it. I've been working for the county I live in as a desktop support technician for the past six months. Aside from that no other substantial IT experience. I'd say I'm purely entry level as far as networking goes. Thanks for the responses! -

LinkedIn is good. Have found 2 of my jobs from there, through recruiters.
