ESXi 5.5 Guest OS version... Debian 8.1 Jessie?
Ismaeljrp
Hello all, I was wondering if selecting Debian 7 as the guest OS version for a Debian 8 installation would have any negative impact on my VM.
I've searched online as much as I could but can't really find any info. I do understand selecting the guest OS type will have an effect on what hardware features the VM can utilize as well as maximums and minimums interms of resources and the like. Have any of you installed Debian 8 Jessie in esxi 5.5?
Should I just use "Other Linux"?
Thanks for any help.
