How Far Back in Time Does A+ Essentials Go?

How many years, or how old can the technology be for it to be on the test? I was on another testing site where they're asking questions about Win2000 (which isn't even supported), and SCSI technology, etc. Anyone here got an answer on that?icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks,

A lot of those free A+ tests you find online have questions from the older exams. When I did the Network+ I was getting questions related to IPX/SPX and hosts running Windows 95/98. You'll probably see some questions on technology from the mid 2000s. I can't remember exactly because I read over the A+ study guide for the 700 and 800 series exams. Forget what older technology was and wasn't in the 800 series. Nothing pre-XP though.

Hey UnkleBuck. Yeah a lot of the practice questions you find online will probably have older questions from past exams. The 800 series doesn't go back any further than XP. I'd suggest taking a look at the 801 and 802 objectives. They are always spot on :)
