Project+ Pass

Passed today with a 885/900 (Expected a decent score, but apparently I aced it). This material was relatively simple, but I'd say there's a couple of things to keep in mind:

-Know which pieces fall into the different phases of the project (Initiating, planning, execution, control, closing)
-Make sure you know your cost and schedule equations and each of the acronyms' meanings
-Get to know the different charts and graphs used in the process i.e. pareto, gantt, run chart, CPM, PERT, etc and know their functions
-Get to know the process of risk management, conflict management, change control, etc
-Understand the requirements of closing the project.

I used uCertify primarily for my studies and it did not disappoint. I reference the PMBOK guide when applicable for things uCertify didn't get too in depth on like Monte Carlo analysis, RFPs, or some of the quality control diagrams.

Here are my notes for those in need:

Proverbs 6:6-11Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard?
When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep, So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler And your need like an armed man.

Great job on the Pass!! I am studying for CCENT right now but was very much considering picking this up real quick along the way, maybe spend a couple weeks max reading the Heldman book and doing the practice tests and passing it.
Currently working on CCENT/CCNA and CAPM

Congrats on the pass! I am reading thru the Heldman book right now. My goal is to test in September. Did you happen to use it as a resource or just ucertifiy? (did you use any other materials?)

May I ask how long did you study for and if you had any previous Project Mgt experience?

Also, I wanted to let you know that the link to your notes no longer work. Will you be reposting them? Congrats again!
