Live CD's for partitioning
DevilWAH
Can any one recomend a good live bootable CD that supports drive partitioning?
I have an issue where i need to expend the first partition on a disk under windows 2008, it means i need to mode the second and third partition up in to free space so I can extend the first but windows does not allow it. Tried a few bootable CD but they did not support NTFS fully. I could hack one together but thought this would be a good thread to get some feed back on some of the best live bootable CD with utilities for windows out there.
Any one have any favourites?

As far as I know any Linux live CD will work. Just get familiar with fdisk.

I haven't used it in a while, but Hiren's Boot CD used to have disk sizing utilities.

I just did exactly that on a Server 2008 box recently with gParted. It worked like a charm.

Gparted comes standard on the usb bootable distro Slitaz.

Gparted would not read the partitions correctly, and I did not have internet access at the time. I will look up the others you have suggested.
