For the position, I don't know, really up to you but admin type position maybe.2018 AWS Solutions Architect - Associate (Apr) 2017 VCAP6-DCV Deploy (Oct) 2016 Storage+ (Jan)

Levithan Member Posts: 72 ■■□□□□□□□□I'd say probably Network admin or systems admin, depending on your experience.
You're lucky enough to have job experience both with servers and networking, so you could really go both ways depending on your interest. I really wish I had more experience on the server side, at the moment I'm slowly feeling a bit pidgeon-holed into Networking... -
parol247 Member Posts: 5 ■□□□□□□□□□Yea Im definitely going to get my CCNA. If I want to get into network admin, what cert should I get following CCNA. And if I want to go to the System admin route, what certs for that?
And does it make sense to jump into security side of things as well like cyber security or no?
techfiend, some how I skipped over your post lol. Thanks for your input -
techfiend Member Posts: 1,481 ■■■■□□□□□□Leviathan: Wish I could trade my sys admin experience for your networking experience. Systems aren't very interesting to me outside of projects.
parol247: If you're interested in security sure grab a cert, security+, sscp, C|EH are some of the more common lower level ones.2018 AWS Solutions Architect - Associate (Apr) 2017 VCAP6-DCV Deploy (Oct) 2016 Storage+ (Jan)
