OSPF Flapping Impact

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has ever observed lsdb corruption as a result of flapping neighbors or links? Or maybe what other ospf issues flapping could cause (aside from the obvious) to the point where when the flapping stopped, ospf needed to be cleared for routing to be restored.

I've seen CEF get wedged a few times, routing protocols holding on to prefixes that aren't there anymore, stuck LSPs etc. from any number of protocol flaps. All these things can happen when CPUs spin up. More modern platforms do a better job with protected memory space for processes, but it still happens from time to time.

Thank you for the insight, very much appreciated.
