VIRL / INE Webinar
Did anyone attend yesterday?
I felt VIRL is reaching very hard to be like GNS3 and by the presentation i wasn't thoroughly impressed or consider it as a yearly subscription (though i know it is legit IOS / ASA / etc images).

Params7 Member Posts: 254Yeah I'm not too impressed with Virl either. The fact that its more resource heavy, doesn't go past 16 devices and nearly requires its own certification just to set it up puts me off. And it has a hefty price tag on top of it. Hopefully with time it grows to challenge GNS3 seriously.

I will still use ViRL for my CCNA DC studies but I will not be renewing my subscription after that. It's clunky and the UI isn't all that either. Plus you can get Nexus running on GNS3 anyway. What Cisco should have done is just charge for IOU. Heck, my MacBook Air runs IOU just fine. I wouldn't dare try running VIRL on it.
