Has anyone here been able to land a job via LinkedIn?

I noticed that you can apply to a job on LinkedIn and it even tells you how many applicants there are for a job. Has anyone tried this and has it resulted in getting contacted for an interview?

    I haven't landed a job by using the apply button, but I did land my last job at a major Fortune 50 financial firm via LinkedIn. A corporate recruiter for the company found my profile on there and contacted me. I'm also getting anywhere from 4-6 contacts from recruiters each week on there.
    Have: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, eJPT, GCIA, GSEC, CCSP, CCSK, AWS CSAA, AWS CCP, OCI Foundations Associate, ITIL-F, MS Cyber Security - USF, BSBA - UF, MSISA - WGU
    Currently Working On: Python, OSCP Prep
    Next Up:​ OSCP
    Studying:​ Code Academy (Python), Bash Scripting, Virtual Hacking Lab Coursework

    Were they from recruiters contacting you or did you have some sort of method that you used? (I.E. apply to a job via linkedin, add the recruiter, send a message to recruiter, etc).

    Saw a lot of interesting positions on LinkedIn but never applied. From time to time, recruiters do reach out but they never offer anything worth pursuing.
