Please comment on my CEU gameplan for next year

Hi forum,
First post, long-time lurker. So my Security+ expires next year around June. I've never yet gone through the CE process. I intend to take this course for 30 points:

I worry about taking a course that CompTIA might not accept. While perusing CompTIA's ce_chart11.pdf, I see that a completion certificate is required with certain information like name of training and dates. How strict is the CEU validation process?

I'm guessing the course counts as 30 CEUs (course advertises 5-7 hours per week for 6 weeks). Maybe I can claim 42 CEUs? After that I'll take a similar course to complete the 50 needed units. I will time it to be close to the June 2016 expiration date. I believe that would renew 3 additional years--let's say new expiration would then be May'ish 2019.

A few days/weeks after that, I intend to challenge the EC-Council CEH exam. This should once again renew the Security+.

1)Does this plan sound feasible?
2)Will gaining the CEH indeed bump my CompTIA certs an additional 3 years beyond 2019--so we're talking 2022?
