also I installed CCP but seems like I have to get a router connected to it so I can use it !!!! is there anyway I can use it virtually by GNS3 or Packet tracer ,,etc ????
Thanks a lot ,.,,,

CCP can be used in demo mode without equipment but is limited. Best to use GNS with a router and CCP, Build a loopback interface and connect it to a cloud in GNS3.“The problem with quotes on the Internet is that you can’t always be sure of their authenticity.” ~Abraham Lincoln

Set the Loopback adapters IC to the same subnet as the LAN of the router that your connecting to. You should then be able to ping the Virtual router from PC. Once you get good at that you can install VM desktop and setup a Cisco ACS server and start playing with Tacacs and AAA method lists.“The problem with quotes on the Internet is that you can’t always be sure of their authenticity.” ~Abraham Lincoln -
