Ccna sec

Hello everyone

I just start studying for CCNA SEC ,,,but I am spending a lot of hours studying ,amyway is SDM still in the Exam ? is there a new version of CCNA has been changed this year ?

also I installed CCP but seems like I have to get a router connected to it so I can use it !!!! is there anyway I can use it virtually by GNS3 or Packet tracer ,,etc ????

    No SDM and only CCP. Yes there is a new exam and book out but the EOL of the old exam has not been deprecated yet. CCP can be used in demo mode without equipment but is limited. Best to use GNS with a router and CCP, Build a loopback interface and connect it to a cloud in GNS3.

    I am going to keep studying the material that I have ,,,, also with CCP, I did search for any videos to teach me how to connected to GNS3 but no luck ,,,

    Ask from Ravi: How to integrate a Microsoft Loopback interface with GNS3 on windows 7

    Set the Loopback adapters IC to the same subnet as the LAN of the router that your connecting to. You should then be able to ping the Virtual router from PC. Once you get good at that you can install VM desktop and setup a Cisco ACS server and start playing with Tacacs and AAA method lists.
