Total Tester Scores

I have a quick question regarding the practice test scores on the Total Tester software. 80% is passing according to TT, so does that correlate to a 700 on the exam, or 80% just an arbitrary number that the TT creators think you should achieve to be ready for the exam?

Well anything over 80% would be a safe bet. But a set of poor questions may lead you to 90% but a set of good questions may get you down to 50%, so not sure how the scoring can be compared?

I guess it's hard to compare any testing software with the real test. Total Tester is from the Shon Harris book and the questions seem to be a little deeper than most described the actual test questions to be.
