Cloud-Based Exchange Options
Deathmage
So yesterday, as so many have known Rackspace hosted email with Exchange suffered a major internal failure when there primary and solo load-balancer for there Exchange servers died. I know many of you would be shocked to know that a company like Rackspace would only have 1 load-balancer for 15 servers but they did, no backup units?
With this being said, I'm curious if any of you guys use different cloud-based Exchange providers and can vouch for there service, reliability, and performance. As-well as SLA's that have a tier approach to issues, currently to my dismay Rackspace only has a 1 day default SLA. In a world of virtual communication for email to be offline for a day is just bloody insane!

I work for a very large state agency which serves a lot of folks where email is the only way to communicate due to being either deaf or blind. We use Microsoft Office365 hosting for our Exchange in the cloud and I have seen very little down time if at all.

At my company we moved to O365 about 4 months ago. We do have a hybrid server on prem but so far I am extremely happy with it.
